The 12th IAVE Asia Pacific Regional Volunteer Conference
From November 26 to November 29, Volunteer 21 participated the 12th IAVE Asia Pacific Regional Volunteer Conference held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. More than eight hundred volunteers from all around Asia-Pacific region had participated under the topic of "Volunteerism as a lifestyle for social solidarity".

 




Fueled by the energy and spirit of Taiwanese volunteers and organizers from IAVE Taiwan, the conference was an exciting gathering of all attended volunteers. At the closing ceremony, Ms. Xu Huimei, President of IAVE Taiwan, handed the banner to Mr. Lee Je Hoon, President of the Korea Volunteer Council. The organizers of next regional conference, which will take place at Gyeongnam, Korea in 2011, gave a presentation to introduce the host city of Changwon.
